2008 is almost a memory. We now have a new year and a new beginning to look forward to. This past year has been full of ups and downs for my family. Our new home was finished and we were able to move into it in July. Building a home is time consuming and very expensive. But Ed and I managed to make it through the decisions and headaches without yelling at each other! We love where we are, I hope that our home will always be a place that others will want to come and enjoy with us.
November proved to be a month to remember also. My son scratched his leg on barb wire and two days later was hospitalized with cellulitis in his leg. After weeks of IV therapy, bed rest, not being able to work,he is just now able to walk again. He was 24 hours from amputation of his leg at one point. But with faith in my Heavenly Father, many prayer warriors working on Zachary's behalf,he is healed.
Our four little grandchildren are the delight of our lives! God has blessed us with the opportunity to be near them. When our own children were little , life was so busy that it was impossible to enjoy all of their moments. But it is through grandchildren we are able to make up for our past mistakes as parents. They are rotten to the bone! But it could be due to grandparent participation as much as possible!
2009 will be a new beginning for all of us. My prayer for each of you reading this, may God richly bless you, may His light always shine upon you. If you are holding unforgivness in your heart, let it go. Live each day to the max.Life is all about how we respond to it, not what it throws at us.
I thank God for my husband, my children, my grandchildren and the chance to worship my Heavenly Father openly. Enjoy 2009.
